Not in a brass band, but in a wind band when the trumpets started playing one piece and the rest of the band played a different piece

Started off playing Soprano Cornet 30 years ago and have steadily fallen through the band to land on BBb only 5 years ago. Probably means I will be playing percussion soon …. or start working my way back up!

Too many to mention but Paganini Variations is one of my favourite test pieces and I like Canterbury Chorale

I did start to learn the flute when I was 11 but then converted to the ‘dark side’ soon after!  I also have my grade 5 Church Organ!
